The Cold Start
Phase 1: The 5km Heat We meet at our partner coffee shop and depart for a disciplined 5km run. Whether you are chasing a PB or simply fighting the urge to stop, the goal remains the same: empty the tank.
Phase 2: The Sub-Zero Reset Finish the run and step directly into the ice. You will undergo a 5-minute immersion at ≤5°C. This is the core of The Cold Start. We manage the initial shock, master the breath, and prove to the mind that the body is capable of more than it claims.
Phase 3: The Dark Roast Once the nervous system is recalibrated, we congregate for coffee. It is the reward for the work—a moment of stillness after the storm.
